Asha Bhosle, a great Indian music singer, believes that music is like a big river. His musical journey began almost eight decades ago and is unique. “I am 90 years old, but I can still stand on the stage and sing for three hours, and that makes me very happy,” she says while talking to PTI.

Asha Ji is very excited and happy about her upcoming program. In 1943, Asha Bhosle started her musical journey with the song “Chala Chala Nav Bala” sung in the Marathi film “Majha Bal”. After 80 years, he made his special voice heard in almost two thousand songs. Now he is ready to please his fans again. He still has the same kind of energy and enthusiasm. He feels that music is as important as our breath.

However, his musical path has never been simple. Asha sang for many great actresses in her career, including Meena Kumari, Kajol, and many more. During this period he also faced many difficulties. Noting the similarity between life and music, she says, “Just as we cannot live without breath, music is very important to me. She also said that there were times in life when she thought she could not move forward, But he refused to accept defeat.

Asha ji has sung many songs in her long musical journey. “Piya Tu Ab To Aaja” and “O Haseena Zulfon Wali”, an emotional ghazal “Dil Cheez Kya Hai” and Indian traditional songs like “Tora Man Darpan Kehlae” are some of the songs sung her.

Asha G has also made her mark in the international music scene and has worked with the likes of Boy George, Stephen Lowshamb, and cricketer Brett Lee.

In 2020, everything was changing in the digital age, but Asha ji debuted her song “Main Hoon” on YouTube, paying tribute to spiritual guru Sri Ravi Shankar. His view is that music is an infinite journey, like a flowing river.
