Actor Salman Khan‘s bodyguard Shera has filed a complaint against one of his society members, where Shera and his family have been living for over 50 years.
A complaint was lodged at the DN Nagar police station in Mumbai against the secretary of the building at Manish Nagar on behalf of Shera’s mother. Shera’s mother Pritam Kaur Jolly claims Jayanti Lal Patel, a society member, is disparaging her and using lewd language.
Alleged use of abusive language towards Shera’s mother
Preetam Kaur (Shera’s mother) claimed in the FIR copy that Jayantilal Patel had abused language to damage her reputation, and that this event occurred at the cooperative housing society’s annual general meeting when her husband was there. Patel allegedly made lewd remarks to Pritam to address him. Who do you think you are, Jayantilal allegedly said to Pritam Kaur. See how I undress you in front of everyone at the AGM now. The society’s members are being informed by Jayantilal that Shera’s mother has lodged an unfair complaint against the organization with the society registrar.
Shera told the whole matter
Shera discussed this in an interview with ETimes, saying, “We have resided at Ashish Co-operative Housing Society for the past 50 years. I relocated to Oshiwara many years ago. My kid and I shared our previous home with my mother and father. The society’s president was Mummy, and the secretary was Jayantilal. Building rehabilitation work began in 2016, and Jayantilal estimated it would cost Rs 60 lakh to finish.
Because the secretary was unable to finish the job, my mother left her position in 2021. Following this, the secretary began to develop animosity toward my mother and, together with 13 other society members, filed a complaint against her with the registrar’s office. My mother was the target of the secretary’s finger-pointing. Even though I assumed the issue would be remedied, it continued growing worse.
Documents will be submitted on 26th October
Shera continues, “They issued a book at the AGM and singled out my mother by claiming that Pritam Kaur had made a fake complaint against Jayantilal and the organization to the registrar’s office. But this was false. The notification to debar the Society Secretary was issued by the Registrar’s Office and returned to them. The issue is still pending in the office of the higher authority in question. On the 26th of this month, the society committee has been required to turn in the paperwork.
The matter reached the police
Finally, Shera stated, “Jayanti Lal began abusing my mother in front of other community members (who had also signed the complaint on my mother’s behalf).” He began berating and threatening my mother when she went to the AGM with my parents. How can you treat a woman and an elderly person in this way? My mother advised us to file a complaint, so we did so at the DN Nagar police station by sections 509 and 500.
